"Don't let the fat chick beat you"?

I have been racing for about 5 years now. I am not a typical runner or even triathlete. I fight with serious medical conditions every step of the way, but each step makes me stronger. I have two boys both with special needs and I have learned to chalk that up to making me stronger as well.

It is with sad heart that I must report that lupus has won the battle this year, but trust me when I say the war is far from over! My racing days are not over by any stretch of the imagination. This is just a minor setback that will make me stronger.

Tie Dye!

I have to say I am a very unique free spirited person (don’t ask how I was able to spend as much time as I did in the military). My favorite time of day is when I get to read all the blogs I follow, ok, sometimes I only have time to scan over them. But I really do try to read all of them. When I need a good laugh I head over to SUAR more often than not, actually I think most of the blogs I follow laugh more often than not. Well, right now she has a giveaway going on and it is a tie dye running shirt. Hello! Did you hear me? TIE DYE! I mean there is not better color than that (well, plaid is a pretty close second). Swing by and check it out!!!!
